Refund Policy

As one of the top principles of YupTrends, we have always prioritized customer satisfaction and have dedicated ardently quality control and hired quality assurance teams to ensure you have your items delivered to your doorstep on time. With this, we stand firm to our commitments in delivering you quality products only. However, what matters here is your kind cooperation in chewing and evaluating your size before buying accurately. To help you do this, we have curetted size charts on the product size. Our detailed returns and exchange policies offer you the convenience to return or exchange items purchased on Yup Trends. This can be for any respective reason but has to be executed within the designated return/exchange time duration (check the product details page for the same). To perform a smooth return/exchange procedure, YupTrends asks for your cooperation in which we request you not to use the product and preserve its original condition, tags, and packaging. However, this does not bard you from trying the product but to be careful in adherence to preserving its original condition.

As a course of our procedure, our delivery agent will do a quality check at the time of pick up and will be further examined for the following conditions:-

  1. correct product,
  2. complete product,
  3. unused product,
  4. undamaged product,
  5. undamaged packaging.

In respect to the exchange policy, only items that are designated for changes can be done for the same size or a different size. To initiate a successful pick-up, we do a doorstep refund for the due amount via refund mode chosen at the time of initiating the return request. However, the doorstep refund might not be applicable for a few of the pin codes, and a refund will be initiated after the product has been received at our warehouse and has passed a quality check in such cases. For any of our quality reasons, if the returned product fails to pass the test, we would be shipping it back to your receiving address as a part of our refund policies. YupTrends guarantees you a replacement of the item, free of cost if the received product is being exchanged for the reason of mismatch in size or receipt or being a defective item. Kindly note that all the exchanges are subjected to stock availability and whether your address being serviceable for an exchange. When exchanging an item on YupTrends, our delivery representative will deliver the new item and simultaneously pick up the original article from you. Our exchange policies are subjected to size exchanges only, and in another case than size exchange, we advise you to return the item and place a new item once the refund is being processed and cleared.

The below-mentioned EXCEPTIONS and RULES apply to this Policy:

Products like fine jewelry, watches, and few selected items (that are brittle and prone to being damaged) can only be returned /exchanged for a limited period only. Things like sherwanis are not subjected to be exchanged, not returned. For more information on this, kindly refer to our Product Detail Page.

Items that you would be giving out for exchange must be ensured to be there in its unused condition (original tags and packaging intact)

If your item purchased is a gift/offer associated with it and you want to return the item, then as a part of our policies, you need to return the free product as well.

If the products placed for return request by mistake, YupTrends do not bear any liability for the same and does not guarantee for its delivery back to the user.

While returning your product (self-shipping), please ensure to pack the items securely so that it is prevented from any kind of loss or damage during the transit and advise you to select reliable courier service. Further to this, kindly note that your shipping costs would be reimbursed once we have accepted your return request as per our Returns and Exchange Policy. Also, we would be validating the image of the courier receipt shared by you

To return a product to Yup Trends, please follow these steps:

Except for non-returnable products and high-value products (returnable within the limited time frame), rest all other products from YupTrends are subjected to return only within a specified time frame given for each product.

To execute this, follow the instructions given below:

  1. Go to the "My Orders" section of App/Website/M-site and create a 'Return Request.' Note down your unique Return ID generated at the end of the process.
  2. Based on selected courier serviceability locations, we offer pick-up facility.
  3.  In case there is no reverse pick-up option, consider self-shipping for the product you want to return.


Pick-Up:

For scheduling a pick-up, make sure the product is in its respective packet and unused and unwashed with all tags intact. Our staff will examine the product during the pick-up, and a thorough quality check will be executed later at our Returns Desk.

Self-Ship:

For self-shipping, kindly pack the product carefully and ensure the same parameters (unused, unwashed, tags intact), and mention Order No and Return id on a piece of paper and place it in the packet. Ship the item to the closest address of the YupTrends’ Returns desk (listed another section on this page).

A confirmation e-mail will be sent to you as soon as we receive the shipment at our warehouse. You may check the live status of your return request on YupTreds’ App/Website/M site.

NOTE: IN TENO PRODUCTS SHALL BE ACCEPTED IF THE WARRANTY CARD IS MISSING WHILE RETURN OR EXCHANGE OF THE PRODUCTS.

Returning Stitched Fabric:

For any stitched fabric purchased from YupTrends or a seller (fulfilled by YupTrends), the return window is of 15 – 20 days of delivery of shipment via our Online Returns Centre.

Only in cases of the item being different in color or size, YupTrends will accept its return or exchange request and must be in their original condition without being worn.

The items must be returned using a traceable and reliable shipping method.

If you are placing the return request for items that come under the drop collections, please note that it will have a return shipping fee and, therefore, will be deducted from your refund due because of its being made-on-demand for you.

Returning semi-stitched and fully unstitched fabric:

For any semi stitched and fully unstitched fabric purchased from YupTrends or a seller (fulfilled by YupTrends), the return window is of 15 – 20 days of delivery of shipment via our Online Returns Centre.

Only in cases of the item being different in color or size, YupTrends will accept its return or exchange request and must be in their original condition without being worn.

The items must be returned using a traceable and reliable shipping method.

If you are placing the return request for items that come under the Drop collections, please note that it will have a return shipping fee and, therefore, will be deducted from your refund due because of its being made-on-demand for you.

Returning Customized dresses:

Any customized fabric that has been delivered to you according to your body size and design are acceptable for refund and exchange. You can still raise the refund request only if the fabric you customized is tanned. Approval for this depends solely on screening and checking the product.

Returning Shoes and Accessories

For Shoes, clothing, and accessories purchased from YupTrends or a seller (fulfilled by YupTrends), the return window is of 15 – 20 days of delivery of shipment via our Online Returns Centre.

Only in cases of the item being different in color or size, YupTrends will accept its return or exchange request and must be in their original condition without being worn.

The items must be returned using a traceable and reliable shipping method.

How can I place an exchange request on Yup Trends?

For exchanging products purchased from Yup Trends, kindly note the below-mentioned steps:

  1. For creating an exchange request on Yup Trends, you need to execute the same within the respected time frame for the return/exchange period under the "My Orders" section of App/Website/M-site. For serviceable locations, your exchange will be processed further to generate a unique exchange id that you need to note down.
  2. Without sealing the package, place your product, and ensure it is unused, unwashed with all the tags intact.
  3. Once our delivery staff reaches you, hand over the product to him, and receive your exchange item. At his stage, make sure you have the original item with you at the specified address that had been selected for the delivery of the exchanged item.
  4. Track the status of exchange requests under "My Orders" from YupTrends App/Website/M-site.


What are No Questions Asked Returns?

As per the return policy, once you have raised the request for a return via YupTrends App / Desktop, we will ensure a fast and seamless return experience for you. All we need to take care of is evaluating the returned product you requested at your doorstep and will initiate the refund immediately once the YupTrends quality check team finally acts it.

Why my return has been put on hold despite No Questions Asked Returns Policy?

While creating a request, we advise our esteemed customers to confirm their product being requested for returned in its unused condition with original tags intact. If the above conditions are not met at the time of pick-up, your return request will be put on hold until further clarification with our Contact Center.

Why have I have not received my refund despite the Instant Refunds policy?

Your refund will be reflecting into your bank account within 1 to 3 business days after being initiated by YupTrends if the transaction for placing the order has been made through Bank Account (via IMPS). If the transaction were made through PhonePe, the refund would be made instant. For Credit Card, Debit Card, and Netbanking transactions, the refund will take up to a week to ten days to reflect in the bank account.

How long would it take to receive the refund of the returned product?

Once YupTrends have initiated the refund with regards to its Returns Policy, the refund amount is expected to reflect in the customer’s account as per the following timelines:

  1. NEFT - 1 to 3 business days post refund initiation
  2. Yup Trends Credit - Instant
  3. Online refund – it takes 7 to 10 days post refund initiation, depending on your bank partner

Kindly note that the refund is initiated only after YupTrends find the pick up for the return to be successful and passed the quality check at the warehouse after that. Thus the time frame for refund initiation is variable and also depends upon the time taken by the logistic partner to deliver the return to a YupTrends warehouse. In case of any refund discrepancies, YupTrends will exercise its sole discretion and might request you to share a screenshot/image of the respective bank document.

How can I return multiple products from a single order?

If the return request is placed for multiple products from a single order, you will have a unique Return ID via e-mail for each item. For cases of self-shipping the products, you will have the option of shipping all the products in a single shipment. Kindly mention the Return IDs for all the products on a single sheet of paper and place it inside the packet if self-shipping or else for doorstep pick-up, our courier person will pick up the products from the pick-up address.

Does Yup Trends pick up the product I want to return from my location?

All our pick-up products are currently done from selected PIN Codes only. If your pin code is serviceable, you can place a Return Request on App/Website/M-site. Within 2-5 days from the request placement date, your pick up will be successful.

How can I Self-Ship the product to Yup Trends?

If your pin code does not come under our serviceable locations, you will have to consider self shipping via any reliable courier partner. To do this, mention details of Order ID and Return an ID for each item included in the package on a piece of paper and place it inside the package. The shipping costs for the same will be duly reimbursed to you, and thus, kindly ensure to share us your scan copy of courier bill/receipt via Reach us option visible on App/Web/Mobile-site.

The logistic bill/receipt should satisfy the following conditions for successful processing:

  1. Must capture the weight of the return package.
  2. Residential/office address, a delivery address or shipping date, value, and rest of the details should be clearly mentioned.
  3. The acknowledgment on the receipt must NOT be edited or morphed.
  4. The logistic charge (amount mentioned on the receipt) should not overshoot the Sender-Destination-Service combination and shall be cross-checked with the courier company.


Where should I self-ship the Returns?

Depending on your location, the self shipping returns can be sent to anyone of the following returns processing facilities. While doing this, kindly ensure that you must not send it to any other address, for it wouldn't be acceptable in such cases. Also, make sure that the address specified on the package must be of the seller you purchased the products from (details mentioned on your order invoice)

Why has my return request been declined?

If your order has been declined, it must be because your item didn't meet our quality test parameters (item is used, damaged, or original tags are missing). You can get in touch with customer care for such cases.

Why did the pick up of my product fail?

For picking up the item, YupTrends makes three attempts, and if the item is not picked up in its third attempt, the request for the same will be automatically marked as same. In such cases, you have to initiate a new return request. However, for this, the item must meet the return criteria and is within the specified period suggested for return/exchange (check product details page for the same).

Why is a product re-shipped
